Asset Transfer Instructions

The following are detailed instructions for giving various kinds of assets to your Fund at NHCCF.  If you have any questions about creating a Fund or transferring assets, please call us at 419-873-4673.


Cash and Wire Transfers

  • Make checks payable to NHCCF.  Indicate the Fund number to which your contribution is to be credited.  Mail checks to New Hope Christian Community Foundation; 1500 N. Superior Street, ste. 001; Toledo, OH 43604.
  • For wire transfers, download and submit our wire transfer form.
  • You can also contribute to your Fund on our Donor Website by logging in, clicking on "My Contributions" on the left bar, and clicking on the "Fund my account" tab at the top of the page.


Publicly traded stock
(on deposit in your brokerage account)

  • Download a Letter of Authorization for Stock Transfers. Submit the original Letter of Authorization to the firm currently holding your shares. Fax (or mail) a copy of the letter to NHCCF at 419.727.9921.
  • If your shares are held with Computershare, please contact Computershare and request your shares in certificate form. They will send you a certificate, and then follow the instructions below for publicly traded stock certificates.
  • If you are transferring stock using your brokerage firm's forms, please use DTC Clearing Number 0226 for National Financial Services and the account number on this Letter of Authorization. Please also send in this Letter of Authorization to our foundation so we will know which fund should receive your contribution.


Master Limited Partnership Stock

  • If you would like to transfer these types of securities please contact the contributions department at 800.681.6223 prior to the transfer.


Publicly traded stock certificate(s)

  • Download a Stock Power form and complete it. 
  • Download a Certificate Release Request.  List the name of the stock and the number of shares that the certificate represents.  Print and sign your name exactly as your name appears on the front of the certificate. The Certificate Release Request must have a medallion signature guarantee, which can be obtained at your bank.
  • Deliver the certificate and original Stock Power and Certificate Release Request to NCF.  We suggest overnight service or USPS return receipt requested.
  • If you wish to have the certificate registered prior to gifting, please have the transfer agent register it in the name of "National Christian Charitable Foundation, Inc."


Mutual funds

  • NHCCF maintains accounts at most of the major brokerage firms for the purpose of facilitating the transfer of mutual fund positions. Please choose the appropriate form below. If your mutual funds are held at a brokerage firm other than the ones listed, check with your broker to see if the funds are transferable. If they are, please use the Fidelity form. If they are not transferable, please contact us at 419-873-4673.
    • Fidelity - this form may also be used to transfer mutual funds if they are held at a firm other than the ones listed. Check with your broker to make sure the mutual funds are transferable. If they are not transferable, contact us at 419-873-4673.
    • Schwab
    • Merrill Lynch
    • TD Ameritrade
    • Oppenheimer
    • Pershing
    • Morgan Keegan
    • Ameriprise
    • Vanguard – Use this prefilled form to transfer Vanguard Mutual Fund Shares to NHCCF. Please fill out pages 3-6 of the form and fax to New Hope Christian Community Foundation at 419.727.9921 or send it via regular mail. Once received, the required corporate documents will be completed and submitted to Vanguard. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.


Restricted or privately held stock certificate(s)

  • Please contact NHCCF for further information at 419-873-4673.


Closely-held business interests

  • Please contact NHCCF for further information at 419-873-4673.


Retirement Plan Interests

  • Complete a Designation of Beneficiary Form within your retirement plan, and note that written consent from your spouse may also be required.

Personal property

Real estate
